It is a big issue!
"Pro" only means that nothing is done professionally. In other words, the person or persons who are compensated for the work / paid.
Volleyball is a professional indoor sports.
Beach volleyball is a professional sport.
Pro (professional) Volleyball is a general term including both.

Beach volleyball on the sand with 2 person teams played.
Volleyball at home is played with 6 people on the field for each team (subtitutes more)
I havent heard of the concept of professional volleyball.
